THE CHALLENGE
Lyall, Bills & Young Architects approached Design by Ant with a need to update their brand identity as the practice transitioned to its new three-name setup.
Their existing brand didn't effectively communicate the modern, forward-thinking nature of their work. They required a visual identity that showcased their expertise, creativity, and the timeless quality of their architectural designs.

THE SOLUTION
Our goal was to create a brand identity as elegant and enduring as the structures they design. We began by refining the firm’s logo, opting for a sleek, minimalist design that communicates professionalism and sophistication. The clean lines and balanced typography reflect the precision and care that Lyall, Bills & Young Architects bring to every project.
We also introduced a refined colour palette that exudes confidence and stability – qualities that are crucial in the architecture industry. This new palette not only enhances the brand’s visual appeal but also ensures consistency across all touchpoints, from business cards and stationery to project presentations and the firm’s website.
In addition to the logo and colour scheme, Design by Ant developed a set of brand guidelines to maintain the integrity of the new identity across all media. These guidelines ensure that the brand’s visual language is cohesive and recognisable, reinforcing Lyall, Bills & Young Architects’ position as a leader in the field.
The new identity is a blend of modernity and tradition, capturing the essence of Lyall, Bills & Young and their commitment to shaping spaces that stand the test of time.
