THE CHALLENGE
After successfully branding Earp Consulting, Brett Earp returned to Design by Ant with an exciting new venture he worked on with his partner Leanne: LeBrett Clothing.
This time, the brief was to create a cutting-edge brand identity that would not only cater to the plus-sized market but also have the flexibility to expand into a broader audience as the brand grows.
THE SOLUTION
To carve out a niche in the crowded fashion landscape, Design by Ant began by researching iconic clothing brands, discovering that many successful labels featured animals as part of their branding.
Inspired by this, we envisioned LeBrett as an aristocratic monkey, complete with a top hat and a gracefully curled tail – an emblem of sophistication and charm that would become synonymous with the brand. This unique character not only added a playful yet refined touch to the brand but also set LeBrett apart in the marketplace.
The name LeBrett was a clever fusion of Brett and Leanne’s first names, setting the stage for a brand that was both personal and memorable. We decided to give it a continental twist by adding the accent – and so LèBrett was born.
The brand identity was then seamlessly extended into packaging concepts, stylish label designs, and suggestions for clothing motifs and inner labels, ensuring a cohesive and luxurious experience from product to packaging.
The result was a brand that embodied elegance and individuality, appealing to the plus-sized market while leaving room for future growth. LèBrett Clothing is now poised to make its mark as a distinguished name in fashion, offering quality apparel with a touch of class.
